Uncover and sustain innate well-being.
The answers are inside you. To uncover and sustain innate well-being we start with a belief in our ability to heal ourselves. Healing is an interior process of releasing that which no longer serves. Engaging yourself with the assistance of a licensed professional therapist is one of many ways to facilitate healing. Working collaboratively as a team, we will take a journey to discover the most suitable methods to facilitate your ability to heal by learning to listen to your highest self with the intention of creating a life that feels centered, grounded, and less reactive. Of course, any kind of personal growth provides "side-effects" that may feel uncomfortable at first; but with practice, lasting and meaningful change is attainable and ultimately leads to a more purposeful and joyful life.

Bottom up Practices for Better Presence of Mind.
“Your body is a truth detector. Your mind can play tricks on you; but your body keeps the score.”
Somatic and emotional awareness are essential for healing from the short and long term effects of alcohol and other substance use. It takes practice to develop body awareness and self-regulation. We start resourcing with empirically based cognitive-somatic and energy psychology techniques proven to give rise to a persistent experience of the self as aware and calm, even in the “storm.”
Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)
I am an EMDR practitioner, listed with EMDRIA (The EMDR International Association). EMDR explores painful and negative memories that can be at the root of problems brought in to therapy.
I am astonished by the power of this gentle method to release the burden of unresolved trauma. The body often holds an energetic shock from our experiences as a way to protect itself. Unfortunately, over time unprocessed memories can get stuck and later present as physical tension and symptoms (pain). DBR has been developed by Frank Corrigan, MD, FRCPsych, who has researched and written extensively about the efficacy of this clinical method for healing unresolved trauma.
Dr. Corrigan is a co-editor of Neurobiology and Treatment of Traumatic Dissociation: Toward an Embodied Self with Ulrich, Lanius and Paulsen. He is also a co-investigator named in an August 2023 publication of the European Journal of Psychotraumatology: Deep Brain Reorienting: A Neuroscientifically Guided Treatment for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

Energy Psychology
Energy Psychology is a blanket term for cognitive somatic approaches to therapy, with more than one hundred fifty published peer-reviewed research papers, on anxiety, trauma, depression, weight control, and other topics. Energy Psychology includes Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT aka Tapping), EMDR, Trigger Point Therapy (TPT), etc. Energy psychology fosters positive states of mental health with the application of self-care techniques that use the body’s natural capacity for healing, allowing a natural state of wellness to emerge.
Sound Healing
"One of the best ways to alter dysfunctional patterns is to administer therapeutic doses of frequency specific energy in the form of vibration.” ~Richard Gerber, MD
